Talent Spotlight: Jaleel White

Jaleel White, famously known for his role as Steve Urkel on the hit 90's sitcom, "Family Matters," is an actor, writer, producer, and comedian.

He grew up in Pasadena, California, and was cast for his iconic role in 1989. Growing up on the screen, Jaleel starred as Steve Urkel for 9 seasons. He went on to star in "Big Fat Liar," "Sonic the Hedgehog," "Grown Ups," and "Scooby Doo." His top guest appearances include "Boston Legal," "Dreamgirls," "House," "Castle," and "Psych." He also launched a wildly successful cannabis line called "ITSPURPL."

Jaleel most recently Guest Hosted "The View," "What the Truff," and "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" with Arsenio Hall. He also hosts his own show, "Under the Influence," and most recently starred in the Netflix hit movie "Hustle."

On a personal level, Jaleel is a father of one and huge philanthropist, investing his time and energy into youth sports, California Strong, and other Los Angeles community events. He is a major foodie, fashion lover, and tequila connoisseur.
