This past week, NFL superstar Brandin Cooks made a powerful impact off the field, hosting two free football camps for underserved youth in Stockton and New Orleans, furthering his deep-rooted commitment to creating opportunity and uplifting communities through sport, mentorship, and service.
Brandin returned to his hometown, Stockton, CA, and alma mater, Lincoln High School, for his 4th Annual Football Camp and Family Carnival. Nearly 375 young athletes took part in football drills led by Brandin and Lincoln’s varsity football team, followed by a vibrant carnival experience for families, complete with games, food, balloon artists, face painters, and more. Every camper received a free custom BC shirt, a drawstring bag filled with goodies, and a full day of encouragement and inspiration. The event was made possible through the support of generous partners, including ERG Enterprises, David’s New York Style Pizza, PATH Water, Kindling, Truvani, and Caliwater.
Just days earlier, Brandin was in New Orleans, the city where his NFL journey began, teaming up with Heroes of New Orleans to host a camp for 45 local youth at the New Orleans Saints’ practice facility. Campers received elite coaching, special swag bags, and a once-in-a-lifetime experience, reinforcing a shared mission to empower the next generation through athletics, leadership, and exposure to greater possibilities.

Brandin’s efforts continue to extend far beyond the game. His unwavering dedication to youth and community reflects a personal mission to inspire, invest, and give back to the people and places that helped shape his journey.
